Founded in 1929, Maryvale is a mental health treatment centre in Windsor Ontario, where adolescents experiencing serious emotional, psychological and mental distress can receive therapeutic assistance. Our clinical experts provide multi-disciplinary treatment, from psychologists, child psychiatrists, social workers, youth care workers, special education teachers, and nurse practitioners. Our programs and services are aimed at meeting a youth at which ever point they might find themselves in their mental health journey.
OUTPATIENT COUNSELING - Youth (ages 13-18) experiencing mild to severe mental health concerns and moderate to severe concurrent addictions issues are referred by a number of sources. Services and supports include individual, group and family therapy utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic modalities. Currently, these services are offered in person and at five satellite office locations including Windsor (Maryvale Campus), Leamington, Essex, Belle River and LaSalle.
DAY TREATMENT SCHOOL - Combines school and treatment for adolescents (ages 13-17) who are experiencing significant or persistent problems in their community school and may also be experiencing conflict in their families and/or the community. Within this program, there are specialty classrooms to best support individual student needs. This on-campus school operates in conjunction with the Greater Essex County District School Board.
ACUTE CARE MENTAL HEALTH HOSPITAL - Provides services for children under the age of 16 from Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent who are experiencing significant mental health difficulties. This program provides timely assessments, stabilization and referral to community services for ongoing assistance.
